This policy explains what data WVVPN handles when providing cross-border network acceleration, maintaining accounts, and processing orders, as well as how that data is used, retained, and deleted. Using the service means you have read this policy. Different features require different data, and unused features do not create related business records.
Data Collected and Processing Purposes
Account details: No email address is required to create an account; a username and password are sufficient. WVVPN therefore does not make an email address a required account field or collect one to create an account. The username identifies the account, while the password is processed in the form needed for secure verification and is not displayed in directly readable form.
Order and subscription records: After a plan is purchased, the system retains the selected item, payment status, order status, traffic usage and reset status, along with records necessary to process refunds, reconciliation, and subscription delivery. This information confirms service entitlements, resolves order disputes, and supports account actions.
Website analytics: Marketing pages may process information such as visited pages, referring pages, browser type, device category, language preference, and approximate region. This helps verify that pages work properly, improve content structure, and identify unusual access. Analytics are not used to build profiles of the international websites users visit.
No Logs and Connection Data
WVVPN does not record which websites users access through international routes, nor does it retain request content, message bodies, DNS query content, or history that could reconstruct specific browsing activity. Network traffic transmission is separated from account and order records, and order information cannot be used to view browsing content.
The service does not maintain long-term connection logs. While a connection is being established, the system temporarily processes the technical status needed for identity checks, route selection, traffic measurement, capacity scheduling, and fault diagnosis. This status is used only as long as operation requires, then cleared when the session ends or it is no longer necessary. It is not converted into a long-term browsing record. Records of unusual events created to protect the site and accounts are used only to investigate abuse, faults, and unauthorized account activity.
Cookies and Local Storage
The website and user panel may use Cookies or browser local storage to save login status, language selection, interface preferences, and necessary security markers. Their purpose is to maintain sessions, avoid repeated setup, and keep the user panel working properly; they are not used to read other files on the device.
Browsers allow users to clear this data or restrict Cookies. After clearing login status, users will generally need to log in again. Restricting necessary storage may prevent the account panel, plan selection, or order process from retaining its current state. Markers needed for analytics are handled using the analytics system's minimum configuration.
Payment Processing and Data Retention
The service supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are handled by the relevant payment channel or transaction provider. WVVPN receives the payment result, order identifier, and status information needed to confirm a completed order, but does not directly store complete payment credentials handled by the payment provider. The provider's own privacy rules also govern its data processing.
Account details are retained while the account is active. Order records are retained only as needed for subscription delivery, refunds, reconciliation, disputes, and legal obligations. Analytics are stored or aggregated within the minimum necessary scope. When the processing purpose ends and there is no continuing obligation to retain the data, it will be deleted, de-identified, or converted into aggregate information that cannot be linked to a specific account.
Access, Deletion, and Policy Updates
Users can log in to the panel to view account and order status. To correct account details, close an account, or request deletion of related data, use the user panel to submit a ticket. Account control may need to be verified before a request is processed. Data that has been de-identified cannot be linked again. Data that must be retained by law or is still needed to handle order disputes or security incidents will be kept only as necessary and deleted once the retention basis ends.
This privacy policy may be updated when features, technical processes, or applicable rules change. Revised versions will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the top will be changed accordingly. If an update materially affects the scope of data processing, WVVPN will provide details through a site notice or the user panel.
